The College of Staten Island
|The sun shined bright for our families today during the 3rd Annual Staten Island Walk Now for Autism Speaks. An energetic crowd of 3,000 Staten Islanders walked to support Autism Speaks and our research, awareness, family services and advocacy initiatives. The morning featured an incredible line-up of local Staten Island musicians, clowns, face painters and even a stilt walker! Attendees got the chance to enjoy some yummy snacks and kids got to jump their hearts out in bounce houses.|
On the route, walkers passed fountains that the College of Staten Island dyed blue- a beautiful demonstration of support for Autism Speaks. We were so lucky to have such beautiful weather while celebrating all individuals and families affected by autism.
Thank you Staten Island for such a fun and spirited day. See you next year for year 4!
