|THANK YOU OKLAHOMA FOR A WONDERFUL WALK DAY!|
Remember, we are still collecting donations into December, so ask one more time and together we can make a difference!
More than 600 attendees participated in the 6th Annual Oklahoma Walk Now for Autism Speaks that took place on Saturday, Oct. 5. Thanks to the Alpha Xi Delta collegians and alumnae, we were able to move the location to the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma. Joining us were our amazing sponsors Sprouts Farmers Market and SmartCar. “The most fun was being able to actually walk on the streets of the City of Edmond to the parking lot of our sponsor Sprouts,” said Sylvia Roberts, Oklahoma Walk Chair.
To date, the event has raised more than $30,000 from online and onsite donations with additional fundraisers happening throughout October and November - all in support of Autism Speaks’ mission to fund research, increase awareness and family services and advocate for individuals with autism and their families.
