Walk Day Volunteer Opportunities
Nearly 600 volunteers are needed to host more than 15,000 of our closest friends on Walk Day.  Walk Day volunteers ensure that the event is safe, organized and fun for our guests.  Volunteers will also receive coffee and donuts provided by Dunkin Donuts at check-in, along with a commemorative volunteer button and abundant thanks from our guests.  To volunteer, please sign up here.  Volunteer groups are also very much appreciated and can take on an assignment together--see the available assignments below.
What happens next?  In April, Autism Speaks will request each registered volunteer's top 3 preferred Walk Day assignments by e-mail.  At the end of April, each registered volunteer will receive a confirmation letter with Walk Day assignment, check-in time, parking info, directions and site maps.  Depending on the volunteer's assignment, some may be asked to participate in pre-event training by conference call.
